Rev'd Judy
Growing up in South London, we were fortunate in having plenty of beautiful parks, commons, and back gardens to explore. As a small child, seeing God in nature was something very special to me. I felt my faith in God was, even then, centred around the natural world, especially trees and the changing seasons each year. As well as my parish ministry in Hove, I co-ran a Quiet Garden in Brighton for several years, until I moved to Plymouth towards the end of 2018. I am based with The Plympton Team Ministry. Other areas of my ministry in Brighton & Hove included bereavement support, spiritual direction, and interfaith dialogue, all of which continue here in Devon. I love trees, rough seas, photography, cats, and the wonderful State of Kansas in the United States, which could almost be described as one big Quiet Space. Karen
I am based in North Plymouth and am presently undertaking training to be a Licensed Lay Minister in the Church of England. I am inspired to create ecumenical relationships, and embrace a wide spiritual path which includes Christianity, Holistic Therapies and Eastern Spirituality. I am a traveller on the spiritual path with no single grounded home, but rather wayside cabins I visit often. I love skiing, mountains and snow - and cats.. I find I am my closeness to God in nature - particularly in the mountains |
We offer Quiet Spaces on the fourth Friday of each month, alternately at St Anne's Church, Glenholt and St Mary's Church, Plympton in Plymouth. However, we are looking to offer this at further locations in Plymouth and surrounding areas. If hosting a Quiet Space is something that might interest you, please do not hesitate in contacting us.
